This policy explains how MOTOLOCK.SG collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit or buy from motolock.sg, message us, or see our advertising on Facebook, Instagram or other platforms. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
1. Who we are
MOTOLOCK.SG ("MOTOLOCK", "we", "us") operates the website motolock.sg and sells the MOTOLOCK cashcard lock box in Singapore. For any privacy question, or to exercise any right in this policy, contact us at mukes.kalungan@gmail.com.

We do not collect or store your card or payment details. Payments are handled entirely by the marketplace you buy through (Carousell or Shopee) or by the payment provider on their checkout page.
3. How we use it
- To answer your questions and provide customer support
- To process, pack and deliver your order
- To handle returns, warranty claims and after-sales help
- To keep records required for tax and accounting
- To measure and improve our website and our advertising
- To show relevant ads to people who have visited our site (retargeting)
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We only send you marketing messages where you have asked for them or where the law allows, and you can opt out at any time by telling us.
4. Cookies, analytics and the Meta Pixel
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies. In particular, we use the Meta Pixel (operated by Meta Platforms), which sets cookies and sends Meta information about pages you view and actions you take on our site — such as viewing a product or starting a checkout.
We use this to:
- Measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads are working
- Show our ads to people who have already visited motolock.sg
- Build aggregated audiences for advertising
Meta acts as an independent controller for some of this data; see Meta's Privacy Policy. You can control ad personalisation in your Meta ad settings, and you can block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how the site works.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where needed:
- Marketplaces — Carousell and Shopee, where you placed the order
- Delivery and courier providers — to deliver your order
- Meta Platforms — for advertising measurement as described above
- Website and hosting providers — Cloudflare, which hosts this site
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose
We do not sell your personal data.
6. How long we keep it
Order and delivery records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle warranty and after-sales support, and meet tax and accounting obligations. Messages and enquiries are kept only as long as needed to resolve them. Advertising and analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of Meta and our hosting provider.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used
- Correct any inaccurate data
- Stop using your data for marketing
- Delete your data where we no longer need it
Email mukes.kalungan@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first so we do not disclose your data to someone else.
8. How to request deletion of your data
To have your personal data deleted, email mukes.kalungan@gmail.com with the subject line "Data deletion request".
Please include:
- The name, phone number or email address you used with us
- Your Carousell, Shopee or order reference, if you have one
- Whether you want everything deleted, or only specific data
What happens next:
- We confirm we have received your request, usually within 2 business days
- We verify we are speaking to the right person
- We delete the data we are not required to keep, and confirm when it is done — normally within 30 days
We may have to keep a limited record where the law requires it (for example tax and accounting records), and we will tell you if that applies.
To stop seeing our ads on Facebook or Instagram, change your ad settings inside Meta — that is controlled by Meta, not by us. Deleting your data from our records does not automatically remove you from Meta's advertising systems.
9. Children
Our products are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date above.
